Ultracet is FDA pregnancy category C medication which means this medication can be harmful to unborn baby. If you are pregnant and use this medication, your unborn baby might carry some serious birth defects.

STRICTLY consult your doctor about the effects of Ultracet to pregnant women. If you are planning to become pregnant or you become pregnant while on this medication, check with your doctor immediately. If you are a breastfeeding mother, check with your doctor before taking this medication. DO NOT give this medicine to children below the age of 16.

Some people have experienced seizures after taking Ultracet. People who have history of seizures, head injury, any kind of metabolic disorder, brain or spinal cord infection are more likely to get seizures while taking this medication. Seizures can also be experienced if you are taking Ultracet in combination with certain other medications.

You MUST provide accurate information of your medical history to the doctor. He will be able to understand the risk of seizures for you considering your medical history.
